Ray Dalio, the founder of Bridgewater Associates, the world’s biggest hedge fund firm wrote the following article which really makes you think about the future and how so many people are completely unprepared for a future that can’t be taught because it is unknown. Most people are being taught by people who are stuck in the past, merely existing in the present, all the while being dragged along by those creating and embracing the future:
"As a result, many of those who have the obligations to deliver the money to pay these pensions are unlikely to have enough money to meet their obligations. Those who are recipients of these benefits and expecting these commitments to be adhered to are typically teachers and other government employees who are also being squeezed by budget cuts."
