What Does Uber, Facebook, Alibaba, Airbnb Have in Common with Unschooling?

"Uber, the world’s largest taxi company, owns no vehicles.
Facebook, the world’s most popular media owner, creates no content.
Alibaba, the most valuable retailer, has no inventory.
And Airbnb, the world’s largest accommodation provider, owns no real estate.
Something interesting is happening."

As discussed in another post, The Purpose of School, school was intended to prepare industrial workers in the 19-20th century, but unfortunately not much has changed, which is why unschooling is the 21st century solution to education because skills that are valuable today such as creativity and character are not learned in school, they are killed in school, so having a 21st century view will better prepare kids for the world that they live and the realities they will face.

So just like Uber owns no vehicles and AirBnb owns no real estate, unschooling has no teachers or classrooms because if it did, it would limit a child’s potential for growth so instead the world is their vehicle, the world is their real estate, and the world is our teacher so why would we limit our potential to a classroom when we can learn more experiencing the world all around us than we ever could learn in a classroom. Sadly, the people with degrees are working for people without degrees since the founder of Uber dropped out of college to be an entrepreneur just like the founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg. Many of the worlds most brilliant minds have been completely unschooled, self educated, in pursuit of their own passions.
