Why Sitting Down Destroys You

This is a great talk that really destroys the whole idea of school as desks and chairs confine children’s movement. Another reason free play is more important than school, especially when it comes to your health and how your body is naturally designed to function. It turns out humans aren’t made to sit in classrooms, 7 hours a day, 5 days a week, as it’s very detrimental to their health and well-being. Another great alternative to sitting in chairs are standup desks or ball chairs.
