Farmers markets, natural grocery stores, unique restaurants, make homemade food such as popsicles. Cooking with your kids is great. Have a Picnic.

Tour farms, checkout events happening at farms in your area, do a upick where you can visit a farm and pick your own fruit or vegetables, especially popular with berries, apples, and flowers which you can use in a flower press.

Water
Swimming, jumping, and fun water games. Even running thru the sprinklers. Swimming holes. Water sports such as wake boarding and tubing, and scuba diving. fishing. water balloon fights, water gun fights, water balloon toss, water slides and water parks. Dance in the rain, snow angels in the snow. White water rafting. check out waterfalls. Canoeing, kayaking, standup paddle boarding. Hot springs.

Gardening

Foraging
Go foraging for food including wild edibles to learn about mother nature. Bring a foraging book or go with a forager guide to help identify plants on your wild harvesting adventures.

Animals
Spend time with animals such as at a zoo, wildlife park, dog park, horse park, horseback riding, ASPCA, petting zoo. Birdwatching: setup bird feeders and bird baths to watch and listen to the birds. Raising animals.
