Schools Are Compulsory Depression Centers Where Suicide is Often the Only Escape

Have you asked your kids if THEY actually want to go to school? OR if they would prefer to spend their time more wisely engaging in their own self-directed learning pursuing their passions.

“If children are being told WHAT to learn, WHEN and HOW to learn, 6 hours a day, 5 DAYS A WEEK - no wonder CREATIVE THINKING in children is plummeting, and ANXIETY & DEPRESSION is continuing to rise.” ~ Kirsty Lee

“The best criticism of the bad is the practice of the better. Oppositional energy only creates more of the same.” ~ Richard Rohr

“Knowledge which is acquired under compulsion obtains no hold on the mind.” ~ Plato

"… a free man ought not to learn anything under duress.
Compulsory physical exercise does no harm to the body,
but compulsory learning never sticks to the mind." ~ Plato

The overwhelming majority of kids are being failed in schools and sadly the ones that are “succeeding” in school are failing in life because not only is school NOT education, it’s not even close to real life, it’s literally a fictitious reality. ALL SCHOOLS ARE ARTIFICIAL BY DESIGN so this is why they don’t and never will encourage NATURAL LEARNING where kids hone their own unique individuality because that COULD NEVER HAPPEN IN A SCHOOL. When you send your kids to school, you TRADE their individuality for the HERD MENTALITY. There is so much evidence out there that kids learn exactly what they need and want to learn, IF WE LET THEM. As shown in the School Makes Me post, this is why when you Google search “school makes me”, you don’t see people saying school makes me happy or smart, instead you see “school makes me depressed” and “school makes me suicidal” and even “school makes me feel stupid”.

"If your child struggles in school, congrats, you have a genius.
If your child is valedictorian, congrats, you have a robot.
Kids don’t need to fit in. They need to stand out." ~ David Pico

“We have forgotten that children are designed by nature to learn through self-directed play and exploration, and so, more and more, we deprive them of freedom to learn, subjecting them instead to the tedious and painfully slow learning methods devised by those who run the schools.” ~ Peter O. Gray, [Free to Learn: Why Unleashing the Instinct to Play Will Make Our Children Happier, More Self-Reliant, and Better Students for Life]

“Every child should have mud pies, grasshoppers, water bugs, tadpoles, frogs, mud turtles, elderberries, wild strawberries, acorns, chestnuts, trees to climb. Brooks to wade, water lilies, woodchucks, bats, bees, butterflies, various animals to pet, hayfields, pine-cones, rocks to roll, sand, snakes, huckleberries and hornets; and any child who has been deprived of these has been deprived of the best part of education.” ~ Luther Burbank

When you think about it, schools are the cause of much of the problems in the developed world since most of us spend much of the beginning of our lives in schools that shape and control our entire lives. Thinking schools are going to solve depression and suicide is absurd because they are the cause of it in the first place. Many parents don’t deeply listen and understand their kids which is why they force them to go to school against their will.

SCHOOLS ARE FAILING KIDS AND NO ONE TAKES ANY RESPONSIBILITY. Guess who’s fault it is if your child fails, YOURS! Kids are natural learners, they want to learn. So why would they want to be coerced into a such a detrimental environment that extremely limits their potential in life. Why do you think depression, drug use, homelessness, and suicide are skyrocketing higher than ever? It’s because schools are failing so many people on how to survive and thrive.

“SCHOOLS BREED FAILURE, NOT SUCCESS.” ~ Unschooling.com

“It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men.” ~ Frederick Douglass

“Too much of what is called ‘education’ is little more than an expensive isolation from reality.” ~ Thomas Sowell

“An educator in a system of oppression is either a revolutionary or an oppressor.” ~ Lerone Bennett, Jr.

“If you wanted to create an education environment that was directly opposed to what the brain was good at doing, you probably would create something like a classroom.” ~ John J. Medina, Author of the New York Times Bestseller, [Brain Rules]

“Homeschooled children have greater potential to work outside the box because they are educated outside the box.” ~ Thomas Purifoy

“The truth is, you don’t struggle with depression, you struggle with the reality we live in.” ~ Keanu Reeves

Depression means feelings of severe despondency and dejection.
Despondency means a state of low spirits caused by loss of hope or courage.
Dejection means a sad and depressed state; low spirits.
A Google search for Depression in Google shows an InfoBox that says Depression is “a mental health disorder characterized by persistently depressed mood or loss of interest in activities, causing significant impairment in daily life.”
